Our story
Quizzer started from a simple problem: most pub quizzes are forgettable. The questions feel recycled, the host is reading off a clipboard, and the whole night fizzles by 9:30. We thought venues — and their punters — deserved better.
So we built Quizzer: a quiz directory so players can find nights near them, and a hosting service — Quizzer Original — that brings entertaining quizzes, trained hosts, and high-quality colour answer sheets to pubs across the UK. The app helps you discover the night; at Original nights you put it away for the duration. Phones down, pints up.
What we do

1. The directory.
Thousands of pub quiz nights across the UK — searchable on the web and in the app. That includes Quizzer Original nights we run, and nights run by pubs or other quiz companies.
2. The hosts.
For Quizzer Original nights, we hire and train hosts who actually want to be there — not bored students reading from a sheet. They run the night, work the room, and bring the energy.
3. The quizzes.
Our team writes fresh rounds every week for Original nights. No recycled questions, no obvious googles. Tailored to a pub crowd and printed on high-quality colour answer sheets.
4. Discovery for venues.
Every Quizzer Original night is promoted in the Quizzer app, so players in your city know where to find you. Built-in marketing for your venue.
